NBC has finally confirmed the return of the best comedy on TV, Community. Why they decided to shelve the comedy is beyond me but it doesn't matter as on March 15th I will be happy once more. Here's what NBC had to say.
We know that the loyal fans of 'Community' will be pleased with its return to its home on Thursdays at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CT)," said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment.
The series has been absent from the lineup since December, but the cast and crew have been finishing up Season 3. It's such great news to hear that we'll be able to watch the episodes. This news in no way assures "Community" of a fourth season, so keep campaigning!
NBC also announced the premieres of the new comedies "Bent"(March 21) and "Best Friends Forever"(April 4), as well as the comedic hidden-camera series "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (April 4) to its spring lineup.
"We are happy to have an unprecedented amount of original content on NBC this spring," Greenblatt said. "'Bent,' 'Best Friends Forever' and 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' are welcome additions to the Wednesday schedule."
However the return of Community will bench Parks and Recs for a month while NBC finishes the remaining episodes of Up All Night. Below is the new schedules after both changes.
Starting March 15:
8:00pm - Community
8:30pm - 30 Rock
9:00pm - The Office
9:30pm - Up All Night
Starting April 19:
8:00pm - Community
8:30pm - 30 Rock
9:00pm - The Office
9:30pm - Parks and Recreation
